Here are some of the cabins the people lived in.
When we were leaving this deer was right next to the car only a few feet away. We saw a total of 8 deer during that trip. Taylor kept count for us.

Blacksmith

This was an old barn. The kids are standing next to a type of wagon.

The real working Mill. We walked in and they were grinding corn for cornmeal.

Here is Aunt Becky's house. She was one of the women who settled in this area.

Cades Cove Missionary Baptist Church

We went over to Cades Cove. The deer in the picture was only a few feet from the car. As long as no one bothered the deer they would stay right next to the road.

We left the mountains to walk downtown Gatlinburg, we parked the car and had to walk a street over, the street we were walking on took us in front of the Haunted Mansion. This "scary"clown was walking out to scare some girls and Zach had to have his picture taken with him.

We were looking down on the road we drove up.

We went up to Clingman's Dome and this is the view from one of the lookout points.

Here is Taylor climbing on the rocks. Climbing rocks and swimming are all the kids wanted to do all weekend long.

The kids stopped climbing long enough for me to get a picture.

Once we made it to Gatlinburg we headed to the mountains. Beau was climbing the rocks with the kids. He was just happy to be out of the car!

Here is Zach and Taylor standing above the falls at the viewing area. They absolutely loved it!

Family Vacation

We stopped off at Cumberland Falls on the way to Gatlinburg.
